And it worked. In 2016, I was named a Top 40 Under 40 Business Leader, and business was good.
But I wasn’t good. I was out of shape. Badly out of shape. Embarrassed to take my shirt off out of shape.
I was super stressed, not sleeping enough, not eating properly, not taking time for myself...I knew I had to make a change.
So ok, no problem - as an athlete, I’d been working out for most of my life. Combined with my training and coaching knowledge, surely I knew enough and had been doing it long enough that when I did have the time, I felt I could step in the gym and do enough to maintain where I was at.
But of course, that didn’t work.
After a couple years of jumping from one training style to another and lots of effort with little results, I recognized that I was not 25 years old any more… And the demands I had were not the same as when I was 25, so I could not expect my body to respond to training the same way that it used to.
I knew I didn’t want to feel this way anymore.
I decided things had to change. That’s when I made my “No Plan B Commitment” to myself.
Being fat and out of shape was not an option. Having no energy for my family and friends was not an option.
Being satisfied with mediocrity was not an option. I was all in.
So I started to look at all the other factors besides working out that would impact the results I was NOT getting..
I implemented all of the principles I’ve been teaching you up until this point.
And I started to look, and feel, as good as I have at any other time in my life - even when I was a professional athlete!
This was my turning point.
After this, I realized I HAD to help others do the same. So I started to shift my focus away from working with high-level athletes, and using my system to help other entrepreneurs, CEOs, and high-level executive businessmen like you.
